Set within the depths of an eerie, uncharted cave, this short follows a young boy who becomes lost in the darkness. As he stumbles through the cavernous space, an unsettling feeling of being watched intensifies with every step. The atmosphere grows more tense until he reaches a dead end.

Visual Approach

This project explores atmospheric storytelling through cinematic layout, lighting, and movement. The cave is designed with towering ceilings and glowing green crystals that provide the only illumination in an otherwise pitch-dark environment.

  • Space: Deep, layered environments create a sense of isolation and scale.

  • Line & Shape: Jagged, irregular forms and vertical compositions emphasize the danger and height of the cave interior.

  • Tone: High contrast lighting and strong shadow placement heighten the suspenseful mood.

  • Movement: Dynamic camera work, parallax effects, and fast-paced, low-angle shots convey urgency and the protagonist’s panic.
